Who knew Raleigh was Tornado central?!

April 16, 2011....

A tornado came through Raleigh....came through our neighborhood....

Luckily, the building proved to be rather strong.  The tornado came all the way around our entire grounds and jumped over the building because it couldn't go through it.  Tore everything to shreds around us.  Our condo along with a few others flooded though.

Had to get another white boot....the hot pink wheels and laces may switch to orange at some point.

But, it'll do....for now.

We went to Charlotte a couple of weeks ago and I had to go roller skating.  We went to Starlight on a Sunday night...."adults only".  Needless to say, we all had our doubts.  Walked through the doors and I was in heaven.  Definitely scooped up a pair of skates.  Just some Riedells...nothing serious.  I was a kid in a candy store.  This is what I grew up doing.  Middle school, high school...I pretty much had my rollerskating game on lock.  I plan to get it back....

In February, we took a trip to the lovely town of Blowing Rock, NC.  We were celebrating the upcoming events to be held on 3.19.11....
